Here is a bit of gameplay footage of Return:

Return is a twin-stick shooter created as a group project for university. The goal of the game is to fight through an abandoned alien facility in search of answers for what happened to the player character's civilization.

The game is quite short, depending on skill level 5-10 minutes. It features simple enemies and a final boss with two stages. The player's arsenal consists of a trusty energy rifle and some energy abilities, such as the ability to grab objects and throw them around as if attached to a chain. There's also terminals around to discover more about the fate of the previous inhabitants of the facility.

My Contributions:

- Designed and programmed the player abilities

- Created the base of all the enemies (advanced weapons were done by a team member)

- Designed and programmed the boss (both stages) as a final challenge in which the player should use all their abilities. 

- Programmed the health and energy bars, and also the menu interactions.
